Tricia Herr

My name is Tricia Herr and I earned a BS in Elementary Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. I taught and/or substituted in Pre-K through 12th grade over the years. In MD, my experience includes 6th grade at LMS, substituting at Grace Brethren in Waldorf, and was a para-educator for Pre-K at Carver Elementary School. I also coached basketball(Pee-wee and high school level), track and cross country (HS & middle school level), and cheerleading (middle school). I taught Pre-K Sunday School classes  and am presently teaching 5/6th grade Sunday School at Faith Bible Church.  I am thrilled to be the K-1st grade aide for the Heritage Christian Tutorial. I look forward to helping the children find the joy of the Lord in learning, playing and exploring. I hope to incorporate many hands-on crafts, experiments, and play activities that will get children excited about learning. I have two adult children. My daughter, Kaitlyn, is living in CT. She is incredibly talented and uses her skills in the theater she works at in Bridgeport. My son, Karl, lives in MD and is engaged to be married in October. He is very involved at Faith Bible Church with the youth program and Unstoppable You Ministries. My husband, John, and I have been married for 35 years and are enjoying being mostly retired. He loves to fly, I love to run and we both love to travel.
