About

We are excited to partner with your family in providing Christ-centered, high-quality academic instruction in a supportive, nurturing environment. Heritage Christian Tutorial (HCT) exists to complement the home education of students by offering academic classes, fellowship, and discipleship with a biblical worldview.

Our Mission

Heritage Christian Tutorial’s mission is to support Christian parents who are seeking an alternative to the traditional school model and value the autonomy and flexibility of homeschool. We do this by offering a supplemental structured classroom experience that aligns with a Biblical worldview.

What You Can Expect from Heritage Christian Tutorial

A truly all-inclusive hybrid program.  HCT is committed to offering a cohesive, well-organized program that supports families academically, socially, and spiritually.  Our model will continue to include:

  • A carefully selected, Biblically grounded curriculum

  • Structured lesson plans for home and classroom learning

  • Regular academic assessments

  • A supportive Christian community

  • Two full days of in-person instruction each week with qualified tutors

Intentional Curriculum Planning

Our leadership team prayerfully and thoughtfully researches and selects curriculum for all subjects and grade levels, allowing families to focus on supporting their child’s learning rather than navigating curriculum choices.

Clear and Consistent Academic Structure

Parents will receive weekly lesson plans that provide clear structure for the homeschool days, while preserving the flexibility families value. These lesson plans will be distributed monthly, at the beginning of each month, and will outline expectations, assignments, and pacing for the entire month at a glance.

Classroom Structure by Grade Level

To better serve students developmentally, we are refining our classroom model:

• Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: Students will remain in self-contained classrooms, fostering consistency, relational connection, and age-appropriate instruction.

• Grades 3 through 8: Students will transition to subject-specific instruction, taught by tutors specializing in areas such as math, science, social studies, literature and grammar, art, physical education, and music.

Engaging, Hands-On Learning

Classroom days at HCT will emphasize hands-on, creative, and interactive learning experiences. Tutors will actively guide students through the curriculum using projects, discussions, experiments, and activities that reinforce concepts and encourage critical thinking always grounded in a Biblical worldview.
